Audio Power Labs is a company born of a desire to create products that provide the ultimate listening experience for audiophiles and discerning music lovers who seek the truest and purest sound reproduction. While the company is a new name in the high-end audio industry, it is made up of people with enormous experience in audio and electronics engineering.
Audio Power Labs was founded in 2009 by Central Ohio entrepreneur Gerry Moersdorf. Having sold his share of a highly successful publicly traded telecom company two years earlier for over $50 million, Gerry decided to pursue his lifelong passion and love of vacuum tube amplifiers and electronics.
An audio enthusiast and devoted ham radio operator since childhood, Gerry’s goal was to form a company that would find new ways of using existing technologies to create innovative audio products like the company’s firstborn, the 833TNT™ monoblock amplifier.
Audio Power Labs is located in Columbus, Ohio. The staff is made up of associates Gerry has known and worked with for years, gifted electronics and audio engineers who share his passion for audio excellence and his dedication to perfection. Together, this tight-knit team has over a hundred years of audio and electronics engineering experience.
The company, currently housed in a 15,000 square foot facility, recently leased an adjoining building which is being remodeled to house additional offices, a specially designed listening room where products can be tested and demonstrated, and an expansive workspace. It’s in this space that each 833TNT™ will be meticulously assembled to meet the highest standards of performance and reliability, and exceed the expectations of the most critical connoisseur of music and sound.
